You know all their names.
Treating them different, yet still the same.
Sometimes you laugh to keep from crying. As each one enters the door, your light starts shining.
You treat them like your own.
Many of you have made school their home.
Planting life changing seeds.
Nurturing them with whatever they need.
At times heartbroken by what you see.
Still you inspire them to believe.
Many times there is no line between your personal and professional life.
Still you shine through all the strife.
Under valued and Insufficiently compensated.
It’s normal to feel aggravated.
Letting your light shine.
Exposing your big heart to shape little minds.
Teachers are the dopest crew.
I appreciate all you do.
